Nautilus is a full-service ship repair company with welders qualified to NAVSEA procedures. We hold an active prime contract with the Navy's Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, have kept Columbia University's research vessel R/V Marcus G. Langseth working since 2018, and refurbished San Diego's amphibious tour fleet.
For commercial operators, that means fleet-grade structural repair, welding, pipefitting, and electrical work — pier-side, in dry dock, or mobilized to wherever your vessel is.

Do you only work on Navy ships?
No — the Navy work sets our standard, but we repair research vessels, workboats, commercial craft, and yachts across San Diego Bay.
Can you mobilize outside San Diego?
Yes. Our crew worked aboard R/V Marcus G. Langseth in Newport, Oregon, and we build parts to drawing and ship them to the vessel — in 2026, to Norfolk, Virginia.
